    Default Help...................................

    Got my new scroll saw blade holder thingys and when i insert them and blade in the machine and go to tension them the blade just slips out ........... I have tightened them as much as i can . put less tensoin on machine but the blade just slips out when i try to cut.............. they are gmc clamps............

    Graham there are a couple of possible causes
    The blades may be oily I usually sand the ends of the blades with 220 sandpaper to help grip.
    Check the faces of the holders are square to each other if not touch them up with a small file or take em back and get them replaced.
    Also a bit of metho to clean the holders as they may be oily too
