    Default Native American Girls

    Hi All,

I'm from Brisbane and like to make various things on my 16" Carbatec scrollsaw including toys, puzzles and home decore items, but have a preference for making portrait style fretwork, or "ScrollArt" as i like to call it.

Not posted on this forum for a long while, but having got back into scroll sawing again of late, so i thought i would share some of my recent work with these Native American Girl pieces.

    SA-P-AG2_1.jpg SA-P-AG1_1.jpg

Both measure approx. 12"x10" (300x210mm), and were cut from 6mm marine ply using Pegas MG #1 flat & 2/0 spiral blades. They are pictured here finished with A3 sized block style matted frames i got from IKea.

The patterns are by Helder Botas, and you can find him by searching his site name "Custom Wood Designs" on Facebook, Etsy and the internet. He has some great designs!

I hope to post more of my work up here in the near future (if you would like to see it ).

    Cheers,
    Simon
