    Default Polishing Mop

I have a new polishing mop (I think that's what they are called) and it is leaving a lot of fluff and bits behind on my work, then I have to sit for hours picking it off. What is the best way of either cleaning up the mop or cleaning up the wood. I think I heard someone say to hold a hack saw blade on the mop as its turning to scrape off the bits but I'm not sure. Any suggestions. Thanks

That's what I've been told too. Apparently its a very fluffy experience. Please take a video for You Tube. (I guess you either get the fluff off all at once in one big fluff storm, or slowly one fluff at a time on your work. )

Yeah, ya gotta condition 'em first.

I'm pretty sure the UBeaut mops come with instructions how to do it on the packet...

This will drag off any of the loose fibres with a controlled action. This can also be done using a hacksaw blade and a bit of care.

I'm the proud owner of two mop sanders.... both of the home made variety.. one made by my husband Ken, one by our good friend Bob...
Ken's is fairly rough and I never noticed any fluff at all, Bob's is much finer and I did notice fluff, but minimal. Maybe it's the material the ready made ones use?

Anyway... I'd think the best way to handle is would be to just blow the fluff off with an aircompressor, or vacuum it off with a shop vac.

Was just wondering...... it's the backing that causes the fuzz.... wouldln't holding a brush against it just raise more of the fabric?

Think I will try the sand paper first. The last time I used the mop I spent hours picking the fluff out I did try the compressor but that didn't help a bit. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
