    Default Recommendations??

Hi all, what I want to do is make doll cots (for starters). I believe the type of saw I want to make the head, foot, and curvy runners is a scroll saw, but does anyone have any advice on what to keep in mind or what to avoid when looking for a 2nd hand 1/2 decent saw?

    thanks in advance

Usually I recommend a saw that can take pinless blades.... but in your case unless you want to scroll fine fret designes into the head or footboard I'd think it probably wouldn't matter.
For straight forward simple cuts just about any saw would do... but if you plan on expanding to more intricate designs later on I'd make sure it's variable speed and that the table tilts.

Be good to have a blower so you can wear a mask instead of constantly blowing the dust away.....

That's just the very basics tho....
I find I can use just about any saw, but need good blades....
Have to mention Harris Traders here.... I get all my blades from them.
