    Question Scroll saw blade holder

I have an entry level saw and the top blade holder is just an Allen screw which is tightened by key. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to get a replacement blade holder which might be bit more user friendly.....maybe a plastic turn T piece if that makes any sense???

Depending on the shape of your upper clamp and the array it fits into one of these might fit, they are a tad pricey but it certainly makes life easy, best thing i did on my saw

If you happy with the blade holder and are just not happy with the allen key part why can't you make your own.
    scroll saw a t piece,
drill a hole and with a small chisel make the head of a bolt fit onto the wooden T, then hot glue it in.
Only thing you need to do is sand the bottom of the bolt flat so it holds the blade.

    Thats how I changed mine.

This is how I overcame the problem, bought a length of threaded rod the same thread & size as the holder, heated & bent it to 90 degrees, drilled a wooden doorknob right the way through, inserted the rod in a insert that I cut in the top of the knob. Works fine for me.

    Cheers Peter
