I am looking for a plan for a scrollsaw stand to free up the B&D workmate. I have see the WOOD magazine plans advertised on the net, unfortunately no piccie comes up.
Does anyone have any plans available?

Scooter,
Some time ago I found a plan on one of the US mag sites.
It's over in the locked shed (90 odd metres away and it is freezing cold and pitch black) I'm a sook OK. If you do no good let me know & I'll bring it over tomorrow & get a copy to you somehow.

Hi scooter, thats the one that Barry has put up that you enquired of me about.
I didn't have to pay for it though at the time.
Hope you have luck meanwhile I'll keep searching!

Scooter,
I posted an answer back to you; but it appears to have got lost.
Found it via wood online. www.woodmagazine.com.
On some forum they were saying that as it was so popular, it was now a pay plan. I found it & downloaded it for nix. Some time ago now, but think it may have been the subject of a mag review.
PM me with your email address & I will scan it & forward it on. (in view of the copyrite postings) I can do that much, but anything more complicated seems to go askew.

Thanks John, figures, if something is for free and any good, someone sees it as a good thing to make money from.
Makes you appreciate the wealth of knowledge and info on the forum tho'.

The Wood Mag, plan was the one I used and it was free at that time. I used 2x6" construction grade lumber. Rather than screws I used through, wedged tenons, added drawers and after finishing it I went back & tilted the table' If you scroll down on this link you will see the finished stand.Stand

Paul,
How do the drawers work? They must be six inches deep?

Scooter,
That plan is the one I have. It has a cutting list as well with it.
As yet I haven't mastered attachments etc to the forums.

Biting Midg
The drawers are 8" deep. I should have mounted them at a slight angle as the drawers open a bit with the vibration.
