Default Sources for scrollsaw quality ply?

I have read with interest the many requests for sources of timber for use by scrollers but have not seen any details on sources for quality Ply, the good stuff with five layers not the cheap construction grade three ply,
There ar e many suppliers in the U.S. but with exchange rates and postage the results are too rich for me.
Seems that with the popularity of scrolling, some enterprising person would consider buying sheets of quality ply, cut it into smaller sizes, such as A4 paper sizes to save having to buy a full sheet.
Does such an enterprise exist here in OZ and if so how do I contact them?

Haven't found anyone like that here yet, but then I haven't found any place that sells the different kinds of ply available in the US at all. I know you can get the marine or air plane ply .... as you said.. full sheets and very expensive.... but there are so many other options when you look through US catalogs.... there's even a nice smelling cedar version..... and the thickness goes down to 3mm..... and it doesn't splinter either.
As good as it would be to have.... I do prefer the "real" thing for most of what I cut, always felt like using ply is almost like cheating! Where's the challenge? Where the thrill you feel when you make it through ... scrolling, sanding and finishing... without anything breaking off? lol
Seriously tho.... I don't think you can beat the grain of the real thing.

You know what is really funny? When I mentioned on a US forum that we usually start with a real log.... slicing, thicknessing etc.... most people were amazed and said they'd love to be able to do that! Over here isn't that the norm? Don't most of us do it that way? Guess we always hanker for what's hard to get?
