    Default Thickest piece on DELTA 40-540????

    Hi,

    Before I buy, Can someone please tell me about the Maximum thickeness of work that can be done on Delta40-540???

    I can speak for the delta but most scroll saws quote about 50 mm of cut however you will find that this pushes the saw to cut without cutting at an angle.

    I agree. 50 ml is usually quoted but it is pushing the boundary to the limit. The blade usually ends up going it's own way at that depth and it is very slow cutting. 25 ml is comfortable.
