Evening all, While renovating bathroom and putting in sub floor where the concrete floor used to be (2700x1800mm), I foolishly let the plumbers have their way and now they have put wastes in unspeakable places, making it almost impossible for me to lay a bearer in a straight line between piers So, to overcome this obstacle I have 2 options: 1 lay bearer at a slight angle between 3 piers or 2. lay 2 separate bearers overlapping on the middle pier. If I go for option 1, it will have little effect on joists as they are at 450mm centres and joist length is 1800mm (F11 90x45) and the span will always be between 900-1000mm. Cosmetically it will not look great, but I think that it will still be solid. So, which option is best, or is there a better way?

Gordon
