hi everyone,

A year ago we moved into a double brick 1958 house in hobart.

the place has a corrugated iron roof (green) that has been recently repainted. the neighbour tells me that it was repainted about 3-4 years ago and when they did it they had to come back because it was flaking. By the looks of the flakes of green paint in the garden it looks like the paint was water or sand blasted off.

So my questions are:
  1. what are the chances that roof paint contains lead? I figure roof paint might be less likely as it is often used for rainwater catchment
  2. any suggestions of good lead test kits?
thanks
