Good evening. I'm trying to plan an outside kichen type of thing on my deck, and in need of some advice on the materials I can get away with.

The deck is covered but open on three sides. The roof shelters pretty well from the elements, but during storms can get saturated.

I would like to put a kitchen island in with a flush fitting BBQ into the top , with the usual draws and stuff built in underneath. I'm after a similar look to an indoor type.

Will laminate suffice.
