Hi everyone!!

Firstly I would just like to say that I did do a search on this topic but there are so MANY threads on decking and not all of it is relevent to me. So I thought I would start another thread, but if you know of any threads that relate to my questions, please direct me to them also. Thanks

Anyway, I want to build a timber deck:
Area: 6m x 5m
Post: metal stirrups
Bearers: 90x45 treated pine. I will butt two 90x45 together for the bears to make them stronger
Joist: 90x45 treated pine

Please feel free to comment if the material that I am using is not adequate.
What I would like to know is how far apart should I space my bearers. I read somewhere that it can be 1500mm apart while someone else said 1800mm. Which is the correct spacing of bearers? How far apart should the post be? Is 12000mm enough? I've also heard heaps of talk about different H class with the treated pine. Can anyone explain this to me, and which class do i need?

Another section which I plan to deck will be under the alfresco which is 4.6mx5m, with a concrete surface. I know that i will need metal stirrup where i can dyanbolt it to the concrete. Since I have a concrete to work as my 'bearers', can I just put joist directly on the stirrups and dynabolt it in? Or do you think it won't be stable enough and I do have to put the bearers in?

Hope someone out there can help me out. As you can tell, I am a novice!!
