Replacing laminate on doors - easy question
In my (timber) kitchen, there is one small door that requires a trim of about 10mm off its long edge. The door is made of chipboard, with an imitation timber finish glued on all surfaces. The finish on the door is the glue-on stuff that comes in rolls, don't know the name of it. Anyway, I want to remove the finish, trim the door (the easy bit), then reattach or replace the laminate. The question is, how? I've vaguely heard that a hot iron will take it off, but it might also trash the...
