Replacing masonite with gyprock
This is my first post!
I'm planning on renovating my sunroom by replacing masonite with gyprock. In two places I have wall 900 mm wide studs that are proud of the existing masonite (and have 1/2 inch quad bead). I can't gyprock directly over the top of these studs because the window frame timbers are flush against them.
I was planning on putting the gyprock so it came up flush to the sides of these studs. If this is ok, What is the best way to join to the sides of the studs? And how should I plaster (finish) across the studs?
The ceiling is on a slope of about 10 degress. Is there anything particular I need to do where the wall meets the ceiling?
Cheers
John
