New Yankee Workshop Kitchen
I recently acquired the video series and have just finished watching it all
As much as I found the serious informative it does raise a few questions
So I would like to start a thread for all that have seen it to comment.
I might start of by saying
In one of the early ones Norm showed the face board manufacture and mounting it to the carcase.
This board has a overhang of around 10mm (from what I could tell)
So the cupboard beside this on would have the same to match
So my way of thinking there would be a 20mm gap between the carcases????
A waist of space or am I missing something?
He used ply as the carcases why not melamine
If one was to use melamine can it be Biscuit joined (I'm told it cannot as it swells)
AN unrelated question
It has been mentioned many times on here about using HMR melamine due to moisture
Is this a real issue or just a sales pitch assuming open edges are sealed?
Any Comments
