Interface Pads
We stock a variety of Interface Pads in 50 mm, 75 mm, 125 mm, 150 mm, 180 mm, 200 mm, 230 mm round diameters and 300 mm squares. The pads have 16 mm of soft sponge foam which produces a soft back-up pad for fine sanding.
Our Interface Pads have a Loop base on one side to attach to your Hook and Loop back-up pad, and on the other side is a Hook face to attach your Hook and Loop compatible discs.
The Interface Pad is used between the Back-Up Pad and the Sanding Disc in order to provide greater support and softness. The use of an Interface Pad can improve the finish that is obtained on surfaces and reduce the amount of abrasive material that is required to achieve such a finish. It also helps the Sanding Disc to conform to curved profiles.
