Does CA stick successfully to CA?
The title says it all. I have an old thin CA joint that has cracked. Will new thin CA successfully stick to the old stuff?
I know that epoxy sticks to epoxy and hide glue sticks to hide glue, also that PVA doesn't adhere properly to old PVA, so I'm not sure about where CA stands in this regard.
Any help appreciated.
Edit: By the way, I'm using 'Hot Stuff' CA, but I don't think the brand would be important.... Steve

Most of the penturners use CA as a finish on pens, including myself, and we routinely put up to 2 coats on. I have never had any delamination with this method.
So I guess the answer to your question is yes.
