Disk cement???
Anyone know of current supplies of disk cement? (made for gluing sanding disks temporarily to backing plates) I do know that Velcro is an option -however is still a bit soft -prefer the harder surface (can be done with self adhesive disks) Also want to use up side less worn parts of wide belt sander paper - that I have plentifully. Also like that disks can be reused -to some degree. Used to get Bear brand -from Mitre 10s. No one seems to stock anymore.

What about Norton/Bear double sided tape. It’s very strong.

Google "3M disc adhesive" - There are quite a few Australian suppliers to choose from.

Can you not just use contact cement / contact adhesive? Options at Bunnings.
I'm sure that I had a tin of contact cement (the yellow stuff) that was used to glue sandpaper onto a steel backing plate used as a disc sander - I ended up swapping out for Velcro

Geelong Farm Supplies has a shearer's glue for gluing on their sharpening discs and it's removable. Not sure of the name of it as it was recommended by a friend for gluing down sandpaper sheets to Melamine for flattening the cut line on boxes when the lid is cut off.
