    Question what kind of glue

    what kind of glue would work best on synthetic wood? the kind people use on decks and i think plastic lattice.Would titebond 2 work or do you need some other kind?

    OK so it is not wood. It is plastic and wood. of course it depends of the manufacture as to what is in the product. the majority of it is plastic in most cases. i did some more reserch and found out that if it has a lot of wood fibers it it subject to mold. in some cases real bad as the moisture can not get out or dry up fast enough. i guess i will not pursue that avenue. Thanks any way.

    You wont get many answers here, composite plastic wood isnt in the mainstream yet here in Oz.

    'Tis around though. And really interesting. Most of the stuff I've seen though is all recycled plastic. Maybe you could glue it by melting it. Like plastic welding?

    Like i said before i probably wont do it now that i read and seen pictures on the internet about mold.I have first hand experience with the nasty stuff. No thanks i do not do well with the stuff. MOLD kills or get you very sick. again just certain types. but who is to say or control which type decide to grow.Google composite wood down a ways there is a statement about it Mold i mean.

    By the way i think most of the problem areas were where there id a lot of moisture in the air,like the southern US and Oregon,Missouri.Lot of humidity there down under i soppose most of it is kind of dry most of the time or at least half the time.The places i mentioned it can stay wet for over half a year.
