    Default Which Glue - For rubber seal on electric oven

    Anyone know which is a good glue to re-seal the rubber strip on an electric oven?

    G'Day Lignum,
    It's properly a silicon seal to withstand the heat & keep it's shape.
    We had big silicon tube seals on autoclaves for IV Solution,
    and just used clean high temp silicon sealant to adhere them.
    "RTV732" from memory [http://www.dowcorning.com/content/pu...t/80-3258.pdf].
    I've attached the Dow Corning Data Sheet.
