Glue and rust
Has anyone else found that rust is greatly promoted by drips of titebond glue?
Had the misfortune to have a few drops on the sawtable and it certainly rusted badly and fast.

Didn't know that. But I've never done a glue up on my table saw. Certainly won't be now.

Yes, messed up several scrapers by not cleaning them after use!
Left a metal handled glue brush in a jar with some TBIII and
the next day it was solid rust!!
Water based!

Any PVA glue will rust steel...

Interesting - there is a cutting oil for machine tools made by 'Rocol' which leaves corrosion marks on lathes, milling machines etc. They do warn you to wipe it off after use, but I never expected an oil based liquid to 'rust' ferrous metals.
