Gluing cardboard ‘signboard’ onto Oregon studs.
I’m constructing an internal room in my big shed using scrounged cardboard signboard.
The signboard is 1 metre by 2metres and 20mm thick with a photographic image on the face I’ll be putting against the framework.
I have a fresh container of polyurethane glue, would a thin line of this be ok ?
I don’t want it to foam up and push it off as I’d like the walls to be a noise and dust barrier.
Framing is recycled Oregon and will fill void with polystyrene foam I’ve scored.
I will be screwing the signboard on with big washers every 300mm or so.
Also have a lot of ply and thin MDF for protection up to 1200 or so to protect the cardboard walls from errand dings handling timber etc.

Gyprock glue, no different to sheeting with standard plaster board, walnut size blob at 400 centres on your studs, working time before it skins over about 10min max, cures in about 12 -36 hrs
cleans up in waterThe person who never made a mistake never made anything
