Hide glue pot
Just received our Shifty Link hardware catalogue and on the first page there is a chocolate making kit with it's own electric chocolate melter.
Now for memory chocolate melts at about 80c for moulding, which I think is the same as hide glue.
For 19.95 I figure that this could be a worthwhile investment.
Anybody else have any views on this?
Unfortunately out local store is out of stock until Thursday but the owner, also a woodworker, thinks that it could be feasable.
The investigation will continue.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Keep us posted. I'm also interested.
Interesting idea about the chocolate flavoured hide glue though. I think it would be better with a little pralein as well )
