Impact Resistant Glue
I want to laminate together an item for sports equipment. Using 9 laminations at 3 mm thick, totaling 27 mm thick. The item needs to be laminated as the impact forces will split the wood along the grain. Trust me I tried it.
I need a glue that will flex and give with the impacts, without the glue cracking. I am thinking polyurethane as its seems more flexible. But epoxy would also be an option.
Any suggestions.

Definitely not epoxy. A good PVA will probably work, but if you really want bombproof then polyurethane is the best way IMHO

There's this stuff http://www.kenteurope.com/uk/datasheets/85051.pdf
It's described as "high impact resistant" I haven't used it
and then there's this stuff Waterproof PVA Multi-Purpose Adhesive (1 Kg) - Kingfisher Adhesives
described as "extremely high impact resistant bond strength" again i haven't used it
looking at the general descriptions, any of the cross linking PVA might be usefulregards from Alberta, Canada

It depends which brand you use. Gorilla Glue have an Epoxy which contain tiny rubber particles. This means that as well as holding a really strong bond, it is less brittle. You get the best of both worlds.
