    Default repairing cracks method..?

Hi, all just a question regarding cracks in some Oregon i have..
I want to glue together some 3metre long 35cm wide boards that have split lengthways (not all the way...about a metre distance) but not in straight splits..
So the question is since the inside edges of the splits are also not straight & the wood is still together, how do i get the glue into the cracks before clamping?

I have techniglue CA epoxy which i think would be great for the job maybe via a spatula, but once you get closer to where the crack stops itd be to hard to get in..
Then again i guess PVA might also be fine & at least i could get that into a syringe for easier insertion..
    Any tips please?

You could try a syringe with a large bore needle, this allows you to get the glue exactly where you need it. I often use one with PVA etc and depending on the glue you can clean & reuse. Either way they are not expensive, ask your local vet to keep a few for you.

If you have a compressor, you can blow it in with jet attachment (don't know the real name). Also, I saw in a magazine a suggestion to use a shop vacuum to suck it in from the other side.

You can fill it but I don't think that the mechanical properties of the wood will let you repair/close the crack(s).
I made a cabinet years ago, with glass doors. For the center line door frames, I wanted to use a piece of wood with 2 x 40mm loose knots. Slice that puppy right up the middle.
I put masking tape on the back side of the loose knots and over a couple of weeks, filled the gaps with ordinary carpenter's wood glue, maybe 1/4(?) at a time.
Worked better than I ever imagined.

Cracks will soak in ca glue if you warm th wood with a heat gun. Have the clamps set and ready to tighten up as time is short.
