Sikabond Techgrip questions
Hey everyone, I'm hoping to get some views and experience with this product.
I was previously using Selleys Aquadhere for various indoor/outdoor projects joining ply for various purposes. I'm generally using dowels or biscuit joints and while I like the Aquadhere for jobs where I care and make all the joints perfect, it has next to no filling capability. Consequently, where I need to do something quickly and it can be less than perfect I decided to try the Sikaflex Techgrip.
My experience so far is that it drains out of vertical joints pretty badly, it foams like crazy, and I'm not getting consistent wetting of the surfaces in the join.
If you have any tips on getting consistent good results with this glue without over filling and spending your life wiping off excess foam, I'd appreciate hearing about them.
Thanks in advance.

So does the silence mean that no-one has used it?

We used to use it at work, with the foaming we left it until it dried then scraped it off with a chisel and sanded clean.
As for consistent coverage, that's why we no longer use it and we now use TitebondIII which has been good so far.
