Default Soft glue for bent laminations

OK , I understand that epoxy , UF or Rezorcinol are the way to go with BL , because of their lack of creep.A problem I expect with them is, they will cure to glass -hard condition , and blunt my tools (planes , spokeshaves and chisels/carving tools) , as my goal is to shape/sculpt the finished lamination .Wich of the softer glues would you use? - some cross-linked PVA , or Polyurethane ? Or something else? Thanks.

I have used polyurethane. Crosslinked PVA I found still creeped. At least the poly is also just one pack. No messy mixing.

Thanks , that was what I thought , but somebody reccomended Titebond III , can't remember where. I' ve sed PU before and find it messy enough without mixing 2 parts , thank you , but it has no creep so i'll probably stck to it....oops

My tools don't get blunt just by working with epoxy in BL and I do them all the time. I just sharpen my chisels as I normally would. I must admit when I have done BL using PVA they are esay to work but that's about all.

Just add some Titebond to the UF that will solve your problem 10-20% will be ok, you dont have to be specific
