PANIC !!!!!!!
Well, maybe not, this email was from the logistics girl at Titebond Australia itself.
I went straight up the chain to someone who sees the pallets move!

If anyone in Melbourne is super desperate I have a full bottle of titebond 2 and a full bottle of titebond 3 on my shelf.
Both are the 32 Oz bottles
They are full and never used but have been on my shelf for 6 months (I'm still trying to use up a 4 litre selleys PVA bottle).
You can pick up in dandy and either give me the replacement cost or buy me new one when you see them available.
Just PM me.
Peter

Is there a titebond 3 equivelent at a similar price?. To my understanding, the aquadhere exterior is like titebond 2, food safe and water 'resistant'.

Yes and well over twice the price!!
Just got back from the Dandy branch with a gallon of type II. They have plenty of that along with plenty on type I. I got talking to the girl there that seemed to know a little of what was going on and she told me all the stores were out of the type III with a problem with the supplier. She also mentioned there was a recall a few months ago with some of the Titebond products.

Just ona hunch I went into Our local saw sharpeners the other day as he sells a few bits and pieces.
He had several bottles of Titebond3 and now has one less. Also had a stock of 1 and 2.
On the subject of selleys I bought a bottle of their exterior PVA a few weeks ago and have used most of it
ona large project Seems to be pretty good. Can't remember cost of selleys but it was from Bunnies.
Just a question . I found a bottle of Weldbond that I have had for several years. Would it still be good??
