Titebond Cold Press
Any of you guys use this stuff on raw wood laminate. Its really thin like watered down Titebond. Are you suppose to
apply it on both surfaces. I am doing laminate repair and didnt want it to squeeze out the seams so I put it on thin
on one surface but Iam not sure it will be strong enough. Regular Titebond it like iron.

hide glue
G'day daveone23,
When you say laminate repair do you mean veneer? I had a look at your other post regarding the table repair.
I've never used Titebond Cold Press but I think I saw The Woodwhisperer (or similar YouTube woodworker) use it. I seem to remember it may have had particulate in the glue to block pores in the veneer to limit bleed through and it had a longer open time than regular Titebond.
Have you considered hide glues? Titebond sell a room temperature hide glue. I usually have mine sitting in a hot water bath (water in a bowl) to make it a bit thinner/runnier. I believe Old Brown Glue is another room temp hide glue.
Thomas Johnson Antique Furniture Restoration on YouTube would be a good port of first call regarding veneer repair. Great examples of furniture repair and entertaining too.

cold press titebond
The YouTube woodworker may have been imaginegrove. He states the glue has clay particulates as a filler and must be stirred before use.
