Tolex Glue
Hi All,
The first stage of fixing up my Champ clone is to recover the cabinet with Tolex. I'm going to use some of the Fender style Tweed from here:
http://www.retrosound.com.au/Amps/Amp_Parts/XCovers.htm
The people selling the Tolex recommend using hide glue. I was wondering if anyone here has used other glues for applying Tolex?
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Chris

Are you applying the cloth, or proper Tolex?
I'm sure Titebond would be fine for the cloth tweed, but Tolex proper works best with contact cement.
