Treatment of Blocks to Avoid PVA Sticking to Moulds
Hi All,
Can anyone advise what I need to coat my moulding blocks (for bending ply) with to stop the PVA sticking to them. There will inevitably be a little bit which gets onto the blocks but I will also do a trial with cardboard before using the ply and sometimes the glue seeps a bit.
I've heard wax will do the trick but what type? Do I just rub a candle on the blocks or use a furniture wax?
Cheers

Thomas Johnson (an antique restorer I follow on YT) uses brown packing tape. I’ve started using it as well - works great. I used to use baking paper but it was fiddly.
