Default New Dayacom pen kits to Australia.

    Hi All

I have managed to be able to convince Dayacom to allow me to be their 3rd agent in Australia.

As a fellow pen maker, I am aware of the issues we face here in Australia regarding the limited choice of pen kits available for sale.

I have seen this issue as an opportunity and as a result I have mortgaged my house. I will be importing in a few of the medium and high range kits.

I expect that the pen kits to arrive middle to late May.

The pen kits that I have ordered are as follows.

    Major roller-ball (aka Majestic) - Rhod/22k

Genteelness Roller-ball (aka Gentleman's kit) - Gold Titanium, Rhodium
    Genteelness Fountain pen - Rhodium

Dayacom Roller-ball (aka stretch roller-ball) - Gold Titanium, Rhodium

Jr Victor (aka JR Retro) both fountain pen and roller-ball, both smooth end cap and threaded end caps - 10k, Rhodium

Knight pen (aka Polaris) - 24k, Chrome

Flat top Americana fountain pen - 24k, Chrome

Traditional Roller ball and fountain pen - 24k

Cigar Americana, fountain pen and roller-ball - 24k, Chrome.

These kits are from Dayacom. Their pen kits are of the highest quality and are fully guaranteed.

These kits are only the beginning. I will be slowly adding more kits available to the list over time. I am not here to compete on price with the other Dayacom agents however I am conscious of pricing issues, I am only here to offer you a wider range of pen kits for sale.

Thanks for the interest, and please give me suggestions on how I can do things better.

    Regards

Well done David. I applaud anyone trying to increase the variety of kits we can get here.

As I progress to higher end kits, I'll be focussing on Fountain Pens, so anything along that line will be pleasantly welcome, although I can't guarantee to keep you in business

Are you looking for suggestions of which kits on the Dayacom site we'd like to see, or are you happy to make all those decisions yourself? Obviously you'll be wanting to keep your variety down to avoid holding stock that doesn't sell quickly.

That would be the next set of orders in about 3 months time. I have a cash flow problem and I had to draw a line in the sand, unfortunately the Majestic Fountain fell on the other side along with the JR Majestic.

I will let you know when I order some of them.

I will be interested in buying some "Stretch Kits" and the "Jr. Retros" and if you're going to be bringing in the Elegant Beauty" I'll be interested in them too.....

My only concern is shipping to Singapore..... What are the postal charges like???

    Regards,
    Gary

I've never browsed around the Dayacom site before - some nice looking kit there, and not just pens - letter openers, kaleidoscopes, business card holders, you name it!!

Would love to get my hands on some of those engraved or black ruthenium fountain pen nibs, and they have some cool looking display stands too. So much cool stuff. We can't have it all I guess.

Can't wait to see it when it arrives.

Gary - Regarding the shipping price, I only charge the actual postage cost. I do not make money on shipping or handling fees. To check on postage cost, please visit www.auspost.com.au

Russell - They are all on the list. As discussed on the IAP - you are probably aware of the cash flow issue and the amount of investment needed to bring these kits into Australia. Be patient and hopefully over time these things will be imported to Australia as well.

Thanks again to everyone for the support and encouragement.
