    Default AEG Router?

    Hey guys,
    New guy here, go easy!
Did a search but no results.
Was looking into the AEG 1400W Combination Router.

Will be used in a table, but I suppose I could also use it as a hand-held.
Seems to tick all the boxes, but I'd love some professional opinions!
    Cheers

Seems as though someone posed a similar question just a few threads below.
Nothing came up within the forum search function though. Anyways!
If anyone has any hands on experience with the AEG, i’d be keen to hear your thoughts
    Cheers

Hey, so I'm also pretty new here. Well, been lurking a long time.
Anyway, I also looked into this router quite a bit and ended up going with the Bosch GOF1600 in the end and to be honest, I somewhat wish I'd just got the AEG. It has a few quirks, as outlined in this video Homemade Router Table Insert Plate - YouTube but you can work around them and it does seem to have enough power to get most jobs done. Certainly for someone like me.

Did you go ahead with the AEG 1400W ? If yes, can you please confirm that the body is 3.5" (89mm) so it will fit in the JessEmm and Kreg router lifts?

I'm actually trying to get one shipped to NZ and the Bunnings Au site says they don't ship overseas, so if anyone knows of another seller that does ship to NZ, I'd be grateful to hear about it.

    Thanks.

To my knowledge AEG is exclusive to Bunnings

Thanks. Bunnings Oz won't ship to NZ unfortunately. I ended up ordering a Bosch GOF1600CE from a NZ supplier. Now I have a fun project building a table and fence etc.
