Cheapest Place To Buy A Makita RP2301FC Router?
Hello there.
I have finally decided on which router I want to buy, now I am trying to find the best bargain in Australia. I am in Adelaide, but I think I will get a better deal buying online.
Toolmart has the Makita RP2301FC for $449 + $20 postage.
Norwesttools has it for $452 + $21.45 and they say they price match.
TheToolShop has it for $399 but they scam you with the $75 shipping charge
If anyone knows some where else that can beat these prices please let me know.
Thanks for your time.

Shop around....
Hi
There are a few tool shops that took advantage of a package offer Makita had where they could be sold between $350 - $400.
Irrespective of offers the RRP is $500 plus so therefore the prices you were offered are pretty good. It is a great router BTW.
Regards
Grahame

Sydney tools $465 + postage (usually reasonable). Click
FWIW some online retailers advertise an item but don't have stock; no prob if you're not in a hurry.Cheers, Ern

Thanks for the suggestions. It seems that Sydney Tools owns several different domain names / websites that are all essentially the same. The thing that bothers me about them is their eBay feedback. They trade under the name "expresstools". I just have trouble trusting people with that much negative feedback.

Less than 30 negative out of 2000+ seems pretty good to me as far as eBay ratings go! I believe i bought a mactec from them last year and it was all good.
