Completed Wooden Shop Sign
Today, I delivered the completed Shop Sign to the owners who are completely over the moon with it. All the 35mm.letters are Routered Free Hand, while I used a Dremel type power-carver tool in a Router Attachment for the Decorative Motifs.
Timber is recycled Red Pine.- three pieces off an old Red pine door which had seen better days. Five coats of exterior varnish was appled to all exposed surfaces.
Sign wording, & motifs are high-lighted with White Gloss Enamel.
Sign dimensions;- 580mm.Wide x 850mm.Long x 25mm.thick, on a 19 x 42mm. Meranti stiffening frame which is screwed onto the back.
