dedicated router table
We are considering buying a dedicated router table that does not need a portable router.
I have looked online but cannot find any of the kind.
Anyone know where to look, please?

Does anyone have a comment on the quality of the Sheppach machine?
It looks to be a very handy unit - how good is it?
Feedback appreciated.

SG - don't go there.....
I also had high hopes for this solution, but took one look at the machine on a recent visit to H&F and decided against it. Very flimsy indeed, very poorly put together. Most of the Scheppach (chinese-made) stuff is sort of OK, but this one didn't impress.
I'd rate it lower than a Triton-based solution......

Would tend to agree with Mr Brush on this.
It would need at least a 3hp motor to be any good.Jim Carroll

Well, we went ahead and bought the Scheppach dedicated router.
I disagree with it being flimsy and poorly put together.
We had a Triton router table before and just the cast iron worktable and the T-slots puts it miles above the Triton.
However, assembling it was a nightmare.
Germlish is even worse than Chinlish
eg:
"Use the washers and screw the working surface on with the nuts!!!!"
"Slide part B onto part A in the groove provided. Now insert the round headed bolt (Which one? There are 10 mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25mm bolts) and firmly tighten it with washer and clamping lever HUH???
We finally worked out they mean a shifting spanner
However, I am happy with my choice of router table .
BTW, it is made in Ichenhausen Germany, not in China
