    That is not a mortise and tenon it is a dovetail joint ( pin and socket)

    i know pin and socket but this is what it's called i found on internet,

    To me, I don't care what sort of joint it is, I'm in awe of your ingenuity. You've also contributed a great deal to this forum and for that we all should be thankful.

    I have to ask, did you design and build your own pantorouter? Were they a design from Woodgears?

    Thanx for appreciation.origionally this machine from wood designed by Matthias wandel by using Pantograph mechanism which was invent in 1603 Christoph Scheiner see wikipedia Pantograph - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    i have take Matthias's design and did some improvement for easy operation and now my machine is on his website as well
    once again thanx for liking it.

    I think this device is really unique. I remember playing with Pantographs when i was younger so the fact a router is mounted to this to create accurate joints is a great achievement

    Im assuming any barrel body router could be mounted into this? something like this dewalt?

    sure 1/4" dewalt will also work as well makita SYDNEY TOOLS - Makita 710W 6.35mm (1/4'') Roumer Router
    any router with any size round body will work.
