    Exclamation Duden Router Bench

I was in at one of my local blokes today and had a look at the new Durden Router Bench which looks quite solid and will give most others a good argument in the construction stakes but how does it compare with the Triton and others for functionality/practicality/cost?
The price my bloke had on it was around the $720. a lot of money for a router bench, but considering the quality and also a local product to boot it behoves the person looking for something in this line to consider well.
There are a lot of others around which are a lot cheaper but their quality demands a close inspection.(this is not a paid ad I might add).
    Cheers give us your veiws?

You might like to talk to Dennis at Cherrybrook Cabinetmaking (02)9481 8716. He had a prototype that he was hoping to get into production. Always good to support oz products if we can.

Don't know if this is any help but after looking around at other router tables i thought it wouldn't be that hard to make my own router table. Simple pine frame and routed a recess into the top surface, made some clamps bolted through the router. Got a red & black electromagnet switch. made a fence/guard. Works great! This cost about $50 bucks to make (some scraps)- a bargain.

Suppose it depends on how much u want to spend and what u want it for but my one does everything that i need it to do.

Thats it JT,good old OZ initiative will out every day as opposed to spending serious $ on something you can produce yourself at a fraction of the cost.
The reason I posted this was to try and elicit folks reactions to not only a local product but also compare it as you have done.
There are countless plans and ideas available for the construction of a router table/bench with most of them costing nothing more than time on the internet or the purchase of a magazine.
A lot of folk prefer to build their own to suit their own needs Which is both practical and cost saving.
    Cheers
