Default Dust collection for Makita trim router with plunge base

I’ve got a corded Makita trim router which I use with the plunge base. I also recently got the Milescraft aftermarket base with edge guide. It’s my first router and this setup is working nicely for me.

But the dust! Bloody hell! To be expected given how much material is being removed. The dust hood that comes with the set only fits the trim base. I’ve searched around and struggling to find a dust hood for the plunge base (Just a moment...).

Any tips/advice on how to achieve better dust collection with this setup? Is there a dust hood specifically for this plunge base?

(I’m using a shop vac with dust deputy cyclone).

Thanks Rick. That’s exactly what I am looking for. I watched his other video where you can see the part number of the dust hood and managed to find it online (don’t know why I couldn’t earlier - user error).

I’ll try his tape trick once it arrives.
