    Default Electric router lift

Hi I'm new to this posting game so here goes.
I made this router table to accommodate a lifter mechanism sourced from an old Telecom work station which has a lift range of approx 150 mm and will lift my weight 75kgs.

The router used is an Hitachi TR 12 with the base and all plunge mechanism removed and mounted in a steel frame to posts engaging the plunge rod holes and fixed through with 5mm bolts threaded through

The lifter mechanism is cut down to suit the the width of the router table. The original mechanism is aprrox 1100mm wide and made from very heavy aluminum extrusion. The whole thing is then mounted in the cabinet upside down as this is the easier option for mounting the router.

So far everything is working OK and adjusting the height of the bit is easy just turn the dial to up or down and press the button its very east to get adjustments to half a millimeter and the locking bar makes bit changes very simple, just raise to full height remove the plate and change the bit

Good reuse of a workstation lift.
I'm currently building a router table so it's handy to see how others are tackling the router lift problem .
