Extension Collet fortable routing
G'day fellas,
We got this in the mail the other day from Gregory's and thought you blokes might be interested.
Basically it works the same as a normal collet except you can change router bits from above the table rather than having to mess around with spanners underneath the table, or removing the router entirely from the table to change the bit. It has a 12.7mm shaft that you slide into your existing 1/2" collet and to fit or remove router bits all you need is an allen key.
Gregory's are in Brisbane:
Gregory Machinery
807 Boundary Road,
Richlands, Qld, 4600.
Ph: 07 3375 5100
Fax: 07 3375 4600
Email: [email protected]
Web: www.gregmach.com
Don't know if this is anything brand new to you guys but I thought it best to pass it along anyway.

These gizmos have been around for some time and is readily available at many places (including Timbecon and Carbatec) for around half the price shown in the attachment.

The ones that are half the price still need 2 thin spanners to operate them the Extreme only needs a single hex key.

That would be this thing..................
..........yeah?
I have the router raizer by the same company and it works very well.
John Lucas at woodshopdemos.com told me about the router raizer, and he said the extension collet works well too, on my list of things to buy.
BTW, $62 US online.....
Cheers!!
