Guide bushings
I have 2 routers, a cheapo GMC plunge job and a Makita 3100b fixed base.
The GMC has a guide bushing plate that screws into 4 holes in plate, the Makita has a wide round threaded hole (say 2 inches across).
I would like to track down adaptors that will allow me to use standard guide bushings in these. The eventual aim is to use these in router jigs for various joints etc.
Now, I assume that all manufacturers have different sizes and styles but does any one know of a supplier of adaptors.
Or would I be better off making new router bases for both of them with a standard hole/ thread in the bottom.
