Default Help - not sure ehow to deal with this

A little tricky with the shadows in shot one but compare the radius of the rebate to the radius under it. We have an 18mm radius and a one inch rebate cutter.
Any ideas on how I can recut that without making a big mess - thought of the dremel sander in a routing stand and 1/4" diam sanding drum.
Must be a more elegant way.

You should be able to by a smaller rebate cutter to finish the curve.

It's not the radius of the cutter that's important, but rather the 'depth' of cut between the cutter edge and bearing. If you can find one with the same depth and a smaller bearing, things should be relatively simple.

You'd possibly still need to clean up a bit if the match isn't perfect, as cheaper router bits are often not quite spot on sizes.

But still less margin for error than using a sanding drum on a dremel.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Smaller diameter cutter with the appropriate bearing diameter to give you the same rebate size. Don’t be shy on buying router cutters, you’ll always use them again.
