Yup, only problem is you have to phone to order (no online facilities).

Prompt and efficient service, prices not too bad, very happy with the quality. If its any endorsement, Gifkins router bits are sourced from this crowd. I'd rate them at least as good as CMT etc.

Now all you've gotta do is convince your wife that you really really need them.

    No problem Noel. She has her money and I have mine. Well, sometimes there's something left ;-}

I noticed that the local TotalTools (Preston) has some of these bits discounted.

Was up there last month & bought a set of Leigh 8mm bits off of them, they do carry a good range of CMT bits as well.

Ok to deal with, James Gobby & Geoff Schupp are the guy's who have the store.
Any issues ask to speak to them.

Have been around a while now since moving from across Erindale RD,where they originally had Woodstock.

    Very friendly and accommodating folk.

    Cheers

A few years ago I went on a tour of their factory one night with the then Triton Woodworkers club and saw how they were made.

Great night and they looked after us with demos etc. Got quite a few of their bits and they are great.

I believe Gifkins get their router bits made by them and the old Triton (pre GMC) used to get their bits made by them as well.

    Hi John
I'm sure you meant Carbetec and not Carb-I-Tool

Since Carb-i-tool themselves are not really set up for online sales, I just ordered a couple more from:

Australian router bits and cutters at apworkshop.com.au

They keep the complete Carb-i-tool range, plus some other economy bits as well.

Tried my new Carb-i-tool rebating bit (with pilot bearing) yesterday - cuts beautifully ! IMHO the Carb-i-tool products are at least as good as Freud or CMT (if not better), and are often cheaper too. You are paying an awful lot for that orange paint.....

    Support your local manufacturer !!
