There's absolutely no way that your router will draw 15A @ 240v.

    That would be 3600watts!

If as others have above stated your tool draws 2100w input, then the actual current draw will be 8.75 amps, with perhaps a momentary greater "spike" on startup. Standard plugs (10A), cable (1.0-1.5mm square) and GPO (outlet) will suffice. The actual output of your router will be about 1200-1300w, which is about 1 3/4 odd horsepower.

Hi Chook, I have the sale model router but mine says it is 2100W and rated at 10amps.
Does your definitely say it is 15amps?

Edit..pretty pointless reply by me, should have read the other posts, definitley only 10 amps though and no issue using mine in standard outlet.

Is a fantastic router though, got mine secondhand for around $300 virtually brand new.
Basic fence but cant remenber when I last needed to use one.

I also have this router, mounted in a table. Very happy with it, would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately I did spend a bit more than $300 on it, but nowhere near the oft quoted $475 to $500. Terrific buying Chook and Mark, you have to look hard and consistently to find these bargains.
