Morticer
I think this belongs to the Major.
Is this commercially available?
If so where from and how much?

Jack,
I'm fairly certain that Leda show some (one?) horizontal slot morticer on their web site. Felder could sell you one that attaches to the side of a combo jointer/thicknesser (a Felder one of course ) and I think they have a free standing model also. Gabbett machinery would probably also be able to get you one.

Around $5k . The ones that bolt on the side of the planer/thicknessers are around $1,500, but you obviously need to buy the planer/thicknesser.Retired member
