Palm Router
G'day,
My husband came back from the Melbourne Woodworking Show filled with enthusiasim - straight back on the lathe - but bemoaning the fact that he hasn't got one of the gadgets this seems to be a must have.
He is after a small router and after scouting the net believe it is a Bosch Palm Router which I have seen on a US site for about $99 and only one one here for about $289.
Does anyone have an idea where I might get it closer to the US$ price at all. The $$ bonus Rudd is handing out will unfortunately only go so far and gadgets although to him quite necessary, need to be reasonable too.
Would appreciate any assistance and advice if there is another make/brand that would do a similar job.
Thanks and regards,

The Bosch, Makita or the DeWalt would probably work well.
Can't help with prices, sorry. There is bound to be someone here has bought one recently though. I noticed a DeWalt unit in Buy Sell and Swap the other day but that has gone already.
