Pantograph
Can anyone advise where I can purchase a Pantograph for my Makita Router model # 3620, or something similar. Nothing seems to be available in NZ, or nobody seems to know. Thanks Andy

The Milescraft pantograph will only do -REDUCTION-. I found out, to my dissapointment, that it will not enlarge or even copy at 1:1, which is what I really want it for.
If you want a copier you can either do a search for plans on the 'net for a pantograph & adapt the design for a router, or start a search with second hand machinery dealers for a 'J-Pac' or similar 3-D copier - basically a combined pantograph and rotary bit holder which can be used to trace a model in 3-D and carve a copy at a known size ratio. They used to be common in shops that made industrial molds but have been superseded by CNC/CAD machines, which is why you may find one at an old machinery dealer.
