Record Power RPMS-R compatibility with Makita 3612C
Hi there, new to this forum and was searching the internet to find the solution to my problem when I found this site. I am total wood working noob so sorry if this is stupid question. I recently bought the Record Power RPMS-R router table and wanted to mount my Makita 3612C router to it. I have been having problems fitting it and was wondering if anyone knew if it was compatible. I assumed it would be since its a heavy duty router and its a heavy duty router table and before buying it the router table said it 'accepts all popular routers 3/4-5hp' which I think the 3612C falls into this category? Thanks.

Hi Guy's,
I have no experience with this Record table but it appears to be very similar to a different brand available here in oz and states the same suit's most popular routers and as you say the makita 3612c is a very popular router so I should imagine that it should be easily adapted to this table and being a variable speed router it will be very useful for large range of bit's to be able to slow the cutter.

Thanks for your reply Rod, still not sure what to do as the table is 400 English pounds so not cheap.
