Default where to get router bits...

Wally would be easier to find.
I'm after a source for reasonable quality reasonably priced router bits, either tungsten tipped, solid carbide (spiral).
Metric would be preferred, but I'll settle for imperial. Shipped to Australia.
Some of the major US stores will drop ship direct from the manufacturer and said manufacturers will not ship to Orstraylia
Can anyone name a few stores.
I can access festool bits but they don't have that good a range.
So far the besty I have found is Holbren but no metric, even though 5/16 is pretty close to 8mm for me.

    Cheers blokes

    +1 for Carbitool and Carbatec

Carbitool will also custom make bits if you have specific requirements.

Here's another supplier. Great range, but they're in the UK though: -

I agree, as a first choice. I included Titmans as another chance at getting those rarer bits that CarbiTool and Carba-Tec etc don't stock. (I got a 1" ball-groove bit from them a couple of weeks ago that I couldn't get from CarbiTool or elsewhere.)

Thank you for all the replies, I had honestly forgotten about Carbitool.
I had finally ordered 5 bits from Holbren in the US and shipping was only $12... gotta love that.

I emailed carbitool this week to see if they had an online sales ability. They referred me to...

If you go on the CMT website, it lists all of their online suppliers for each bit. I've ordered a whole heap of their bits from Amazon this week. They will usually ship direct, or you can use something like hopshopgo

Try the flai Italian bits, importer is promac which also brings in other quality tools & accessories like tormek, nobex, armet & more. There website is Promac Tools :: Home it has distributors listed there too. Flai saw blades & router bits have titanium in the tungsten & a Teflon coating high end at a reasonable price

Just as an aside, I was discussing Titman and Flai bits with a dealer in the USA a year or so ago, and he was pretty convinced the Flai bits are made by Titman, and Titman blades are made by Flai.

Just got confirmation from flai contact, see message below

"Flai buy the router bits as a blank and finish them to the high quality in Italy
They supply blades OEM to several companies in USA"
